Waiting on the Lord is not Whiling away time! Waiting on the Lord should be with hope and perseverance – not with a thought “let it happen – when it has to happen” but to prayerfully endure through the season and allowing God to work inside you. Waiting is not what you get at the end – its what you become at the end. Encouragements from few Bible passages-

Faith is a must ingredient in your waitingA man cannot please God unless he has faith. Anyone who comes to God must believe that He is. That one must also know that God gives what is promised to the one who keeps on looking for Him”.- Hebrew 11.6

Waiting on God should be with "Hope" “Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be."- Romans 4:18.

Your season of waiting on God will not go in vain – even while God is working behind scenes, he is working inside you. So that when the time comes you could be matured enough to handle and appreciate what God has done for you.

Waiting requires endurance and patience Habakkuk 2:3- “For the vision awaits an appointed time; it testifies of the end, and will not lie. Though it lingers, wait for it, since it will surely come and not delay

I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Psalm 27:13

Waiting on God should be with hope – that God is working out the best for you and let your heart at rest knowing that God is at work for you! Waiting shouldn’t be whiling away time and waiting will not go in vain! Blessing!
